The Township of Chatsworth Xtreme Heating Peewee LL# 1
hosted the Hanover Falcons Sunday afternoon coming out on top with a win of
7-1.
It was an evenly matched first and second period. There was five minutes left in the first period when Wyatt Golem put the Rebels on the scoreboard with a strong pass from defenceman Hunter Courtney. The Falcons were trying all efforts to not fall short of the game. With 11:26 left in the second period, the Falcons put their mark up on the board scoring their only goal of the game.
The Rebels must have felt a little pressure from the Falcons. After a flooded ice, the Rebels came back out on the ice with full force. They skated end to end showing great teamwork. Hunter Courtney and Curtis Wade assisted Clayton Kreuger as he took the puck and pushed forward netting the second goal of the game with 13:01 left. In under ten minutes left in the third the Rebels scored five more goals. Wyatt Golem got an unassisted goal at 10:32. At 6:32 Jack Kivell slipped the puck pass the Falcons goalie. Ten seconds later Curtis Wade charged up the ice scoring a goal. The assists went to Clayton Kreuger and Wyatt Golem. With three minutes left Clayton Kreuger net an unassisted goal. Two minutes remained and Wesley Houston scored the final goal of the game with Clayton Kreuger and Curtis Wade earning the assists.

Rebels are back on the ice Friday January 2nd at 7:00 in Keady when they face off against their hometown rivals Peewee LL# 2.
