Tournament Champs!
The TCDMHA Xtreme Heating Peewee LL#1
team participated in the Canadian Tire Cup in Hanover on December 13th and came
away champions!
Copies of the game sheets are coming and we'll hopefully be able to give you the full story soon, but until then, here is a quick synopsis of how the day went.
In their first game, the Rebels met Erin-Hillsburgh Black and dominated the game from the onset, coming away with an 8-1 win. Their second game pitted them against a stronger Centre Wellington team, but the Rebels were unfazed, posting the exact same result: 8-1.
After playing two regular hockey games, multiple mini-stick games, and swimming, the Rebels were exhausted when they hit the ice versus Wingham in the championship game. TCDMHA found themselves down 1-0 heading into the break, but rallied together in the dressing room and came out flying in the third, scoring two quick goals and later adding a third. Wingham would net one more of their own, but it was not enough, as the Rebels went on to win the game 3-2.
Congratulations, Rebels! It was a real team effort!
