And then there were 9 . . .
They hit the ice tonight down 1 injured Defence, but THE CHATSWORTH ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION Branch 464 PeeWee 'C' REBELS started their WOAA Year End Tournament off with a 3 - 0 SHUT OUT Win over Walkerton.

All 3 REBELS goals were scored in the 2nd period.
Tristin Brown started it off with a beauty goal top shelf, with the help of Emily Meuser and Jamie Gilchrist just 21 seconds in.
It was Abby Vokes to Reese Wilkins with a wrap around pass to Jade Gilchrist who was ready at the net for goal # 2, and at 0:15 Tristin finished off the scoring with another hard shot off the post and in, assisted by Emily and Jamie.
There was some sort of crazy force field around Walkerton's net that was keeping Reese out tonight, despite MANY amazing shots right on it! ... and it was Shut-Out # 23 for Ashlynn Stephenson and her 3 strong, hard worked defence.

GREAT START GIRLS!
Refreeze those cold packs, get some rest and we'll see you back in Ayton tomorrow night at 7:20pm vs Mount Forest.

Royal Canadian Legion Chatsworth Branch 464 As important as our support of veterans and their dependants is to Legion, Ontario Command and its branch members find the time and energy to make significant contributions to our communities. Branches support other community based organizations financially, using funds raised through clubhouse operations, bingos, raffles and break open tickets. Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated by branches in Ontario to other community and service organizations. As well as financial support, in many communities, the Legion hall is the main meeting place and venue for other community based organizations. Most branches provide this service free of charge. As well as support for others, Legion branches operate, or help to organize and operate many community programs. These include public safety programs, programs for seniors, meals on wheels, sport and youth programs.
