A great game Friday night in Keady
Your Township of Chatsworth "Barry's Construction" PeeWee LL#2 Rebels had an action packed & intense game when they hosted the Walkerton Capitals in Keady on Friday.
The Rebels wouldn't score the first goal of the game, but it would only take Jack Murray 34 seconds later to score on a pass from Jeremy Kirk who scooped up the puck from Pearce Lacey.
Walkerton would add their last goal of the game with just over 3 minutes left of play in the first - but our boys would tie it up one minute later when Carson Torrie found the back of the net, assisted by Chris Hardman.
The Torrie/Hardman duo would repeat their goal & assist strategy shortly into the second period of play, putting the Rebels ahead by one.
In the final period of play Dalan Frook would take his turn scoring a pair of goals - both assisted by Torrie and one second assist being awarded to Grant Stephen on the final goal of the game.
Devin Early did not disappoint playing a solid game in net, helping bring the boys their home opener 5-2 victory!
