Atom C Rebels Defeat Markdale Shooting Stars 2-1
The Desboro Lion's Club Atom Rep Girls came out victorious over Markdale 2-1 after a hard fought game on Saturday afternoon.
The first period the girls battled hard but the game remained scoreless. In the second period Kloey Jex scored assisted by Claire Vokes to make it 1-0 for the Rebels. Markdale was quick to answer back with a goal of their own to tie up the game. The pressure was on! Despite countless shots on net Markdale held them until Summer Roney scored from an excellent pass by Tara Meikle to win the game 2-1! Way to go girls!
