Town and Country Midget girls tie Markdale 'B'
In the last remaining league game, Town and Country Midget 'C' girls tied Markdale Shooting Stars 1-1.
With no score in the first or second periods, Markdale got on the board only 8 seconds into the third with a goal by Marissa Zago.
Amandah Gill left the net to give an extra attacker for the Rebels, as the clock ran down. Shooting Stars took a penalty with only 50 seconds left in the game. With 8.5 seconds remaining, Danielle McNabb scored from the point to tie the game, assisted by Lexy Horton. Nicely done girls, and with a shortened bench no less. Keep it up!!
