Rebels Score Big!
The Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 PeeWee Girls 'C' started off with a big win in the South Huron Pink on the Rink tournament today.

It was a high scoring game in Lucan today when the girls took on their first game in the tournament vs. Zorra Fusion.

A slow game at first saw these two teams tied going into the third, the end result was a 7-5 victory for these hard working ladies.

Opening our scoring halfway through the first period was Kirsten Sutter.  Zorra was quick to respond to end the first in a 1-1 tie.

The second period played out the same with a beauty goal from Gabby McNabb where Zorra was quick to respond to end the period in a 2-2 tie.

Now for the final period of play these girls played hard and played off lots of hard shots to help protect goalie Jadzia Leask.  McNabb scored goals number 3 & 4 of the game. Then Tristan Brown planted a nice one in the net and then another before McNabb scored our last goal with the only assist of the game being noted for Rachel Mallette.

So with the end of our scoring done with just over 3 minutes left of play and a game set at 7-2 Zorra faught hard scoring the final 3 goals of the game being played with just under 2 minutes left if play-valiant effort but the Rebels come out with the victory.

MVP awarded to Kirsten Sutter by Zorra Fusion.

Good Luck ladies tomorrow morning when you come up against Lucknow-Wingham!
