REBELS take the WIN in FAST PACED END TO END GAME
The mighty Rebels faced the Arran Elderslie Icedogs at home tonight in local league action.
There was some fast end-to-end action tonight and the Rebels added another win to their tally with a 3-1 victory.
Scoring for the Rebels was Dalan Frook from a nice pass made by Curtis Wade. Minutes later Curtis added a 2nd goal assisted by Jordan Roney after he stole the puck from the I-Dogs defenceman.
The Icedogs answered back with an unassisted goal from Liam Copping to bring the visitors within a goal.
The second period was scoreless with both teams attacking hard. The Rebels even killed 2 penalties, and our goalie kept the net clear in spite of the Icedogs power play.
On our own power play in the 3rd period Ethan Harrison rushed down the wing and rang a shot off of the I-dogs goalie's mask. Adam Gorman one-timed the rebound and scored our 3rd goal.
A good effort by all as we ramp up for the playoffs!
