Rebels Tame the Wild AGAIN winning game 2 in the Championship Round!!

The TCDMHA Desboro Garage Peewee LL Rebels won game 2 in the best of 5 tonight in Keady... winning 3-2........
Although there was no scoring in the first period the Rebels Clearly dominated the Wild in their end. Attempting shot after shot but the Wilds goalie wasn't giving in... and then the Wild started pushing back... The Wild opened the scoring with an unassisted goal from Simon Smith early in the second period..... BUT the Rebels weren't going to give up and Less than a minute later The Rebels Clayton Wathke (Connor Bye, Evan Longland) tied the game up... Not to be outdone, The Rebels Will McNabb (Wathke) added another 6 minutes later to gain the upper hand.
In the third Period, the Rebels knew that a 1 goal lead wasn't going to be enough to keep the Wild at Bay so with 5:46 left in the the game The Rebels Evan Longland (Bye) put one in Top shelf!!!!! It was looking like a clear win but The Wild weren't done as Kilty Ellot (Simon Smith,Nathan Good) scored with 1:51 remaining....The Rebels won 3-2!
Game 3 is set for Saturday in Lion's Head at 2 pm.... Good Luck Rebels!!!!! You ALL played an excellent game and Should be proud!!
