One Line Scores Goals!
With a horrible drive to Toronto to take part in the Leaside March Madness Hockey Tournament and an early start to the day for an 11am game, the Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Bantam C girls opened the scoring in the 2nd with a goal from Melissa Stirling (Lexy Horton, Danielle McNabb).
The Mississauga Chiefs goalie played a phenomenal game and kept their team in the game with shot after shot from the Rebels team. Late in the 3rd the Chiefs Kyla Archibald snuck one past Amandah Gill to put their first and only on the board. With the Rebels keeping their fans in suspense, the 2nd goal of the game came from the same line that scored the first goal with Taylor Slater netting one unassisted with only 30 seconds left in the game...
Way to go Rebels with the first win of the tournament!!!
