3 FULL LINES, TOTAL TEAM EFFORT = PROUD COACHES and a SHUT-OUT WIN
The COUNTRY CHARM MENNONITE FURNITURE Bantam 'C' Girls hosted and defeated the West Grey Warriors tonight in Chatsworth.
The Rebels got control of the puck right off the face-off, went down the ice together and Ashlyn Mackison scored with just 12 seconds gone on the clock, assisted by Erica McComb and Sammy DeJong.
As great things come in 2's ... this line scored again with 2:48 remaining in the 1st, but this time Ashlyn and Sammy assisted Erica with the goal.
All 3 lines worked hard tonight with great passing and shots on (or at) the net.
Our 5 mighty defence were strong in our end and assisted Hannah Mustard with the shut-out.
Final score 2 -0.
Great game girls. What a good way to celebrate EXAMS being OVER!
Congratulations to BOTH teams on our the FIRST PENALTY FREE GAME of the year!!!
