Howell Transport U15 Rebels hosted the BHC Ice Dogs AR at the Markdale Arena on December 12th
After last games tie, the Rebels were determined to win, and they showed that determination all game.
During the 1st period the Rebels fought hard for the puck and pulled ahead when (#32)Jake Oatt scored the first goal of the game with an assist from (#22)Jhett McKee and (#29)Trever McCarthy.
In the 2nd period the Rebels fought hard to keep their lead and even had a 5 on 3 power-play to pull ahead but just couldn’t manage to hit the back of the net.
The Rebels went into the 3rd with high hopes. Even after the Ice Dogs tied up the game, the Rebels kept fighting and added another point thanks to a goal by (#29)Trever McCarthy with the help of (#32)Jake Oatt. This put the team ahead 2-1 which unfortunately quickly changed when the Ice Dogs tied up the score. Soon after, while on a power-play, (#29)Trever McCarthy pulled the Rebels ahead again with an assist from (#31)Finlay Johnston. Now that the Rebels were in the lead again, they were determined to not let it go which showed when (#32)Jake Oatt scored the last goal of the game with the help of (#29)Trever McCarthy.
The final score of the game was 4-2 and the Rebels skated off the ice with the win. The Rebels are hoping to be on the ice again soon and are ready to take home another victory.
