Rebels Beat the Falcons
The Power Worker's Union Midget Boys Local League Rebels traveled to Hanover on Wednesday and came up with a 4-1 win in WOAA Playoff action.
Hanover was able to get on the board first and lead 1-0 after one period of play. Their goalie was incredible making save after save as we managed to control most of the play and spent many minutes in their end. Midway through the second Charlie Scott took a pass from Landon Heathers and tucked a backhander in past the Hanover net minder. With 3:15 left in the second Dalan Frook scored unassisted to put the Rebels up 2-1.
Early in the third period Chris Hardman finished off a play from Heathers and Avery Ash. Later in the third Hardman picked up his second of the game with the helper coming from Daniel Mustard. Making the final score 4-1. The boys battled hard and came away with a win. DJ Gamble was solid in net for the Rebels. Great job boys.
