The
Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls HL travelled to Kincardine on Saturday
afternoon for another match against the Kincardine Kinucks.
The game was a nail biter from the first face off to the final buzzer! The Rebels opened the scoring in the 1st period when Tina Johnson scored unassisted. Kincardine responded in the 2nd and tied it up. Kincardine pulled ahead in the 3rd but again the Rebels answered and Ally Dunn launched a rocket from the high slot and tied it up again. The final score was a tie, 2-2.
Shaila Wellwood gave another electrifying performance between the pipes stopping shot after shot from the Kinucks.
The Rebels play this weekend at the Northern Lights Ladies Classic Tournament in Owen Sound. GO REBELS!
