TIED IN TIVERTON
Submitted By Kellie Hesch on Sunday, November 4, 2018
The Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls HL travelled to Tiverton on Sunday afternoon to play the Kincardine Kinucks in their first regular season meeting.

The Kinucks opened the scoring early in the first and the Rebels fought back hard.  Then Tina Johnson tied it up late in the first assisted by Ally Dunn.  Kincardine pulled ahead early in the 3rd but again the Rebels answered and Miss Johnson scored her second goal of the game assisted by Kylie Hesch.  At the final buzzer, the game was tied 2-2.

Shaila Wellwood’s performance in the net was nothing short of dazzling as she stopped shot after shot from the Kinucks.

The Rebels meet the Kincardine Kinucks again on Saturday November 17th at 4:30pm at the Davidson Centre.  GO REBELS!
