Riding the Winning Wave
The TCDMHA Power Workers’ Union Midget LL Rebels are unbeaten in their last eight games, and they are surfing the crest of that wave, adding another win to their impressive 18-5-3 record in Hanover last weekend.

The scoreless first period in Hanover flew by as the Rebels readjusted to league play after taking home the 2019 DQ Challenge Cup at the tournament in Grand Bend the weekend before.  The Rebs got on the scoreboard first partway through the second period with a goal by Chris Hardman, set up by Talmon Ash and Jack Kivell.  Hanover answered a few minutes later, and the period ended in a 1-1 tie.

The Rebels kicked into high gear in the third, tapping into their trademark intensity and filling the net with three unanswered goals: one from Josh Currie (unassisted), followed a few minutes later by Carson Torrie (assisted by Josh Currie), and topped off with a beauty by Talmon Ash, set up by Brandon Lindstrom and Chris Hardman.

The Rebels have just three games left in the regular schedule before playoffs start.  They are tied for first in the North Division, rocking a remarkable 83% win percentage that, by all signs, will keep on going right through to the finish line.  GO REBELS GO!!!
