Fun times in Hanover!
A job well done to the Township of Chatsworth "Howell Transport" Bantom Local League team at their second tournament of the season.

With an early start to the day the Rebels were somewhat awake for their first game at 8 am - even the fans were a little bit quiet! The Hanover Falcons and Rebels were well matched and the Rebels only allowed one goal per period however they weren't able to sink one into the net themselves.  The opposing team coaching staff chose DJ Gamble as the player of the game which was well deserved for his stellar performance.

Game two vs. the Kincardine Kinucks LL 1 was a wee bit different.  After a pep talk the positivity level went up several notches and the players kept the game close.  Adam Gorman opened up the scoring in the first period with a great pass from William Hoare.  They kept the game at 1-0 til the Kinucks answered back in the second tying up the game.

Jack Diaz scored a beauty goal assisted by Avery Ash and Ethen Blakey in the second.  In the fans opinion the Rebels were passing and making great plays.  By the end the Kinucks slipped three more goals by in the third period ending our day at the tournament.  The opposing bench staff chose Adam Gorman as the player of the game however many would agree the whole team could've each earned a medal.

All was not lost as many players enjoyed their swim pass after and some of the parents made donations through the Gateway Casino and to the Hanover improvement fund.

Good job to all the Rebels for believing in themselves and playing a darn good game!
