On a chilly Saturday in Desboro the RF King Excavating Atom LL Rebels exacted some revenge on the AEMHA Ice Dogs #2 by the score of 2-1. After giving the Icedogs a 3-0 win earlier in the season, the Rebels came out with a strong effort in which the coach called 'a statement game'.
Goaltending from Justin Nagel and Liam Cooke was excellent, as well as the solid play of the ever-improving defence corps led by Atom veteran Dane Snyder and rookies Billy Catto, Matthew Casemore, and Conlan Couch. The forward group put in a complete effort and were able to give the Ice Dogs D fits with their relentless forecheck and puck pursuit. Braden King scored both Rebels goals and while the assists were unavailable at press time the unofficial assists go to Kayden Kirk, Simon Potter, Riley Roblin, Owen Cooke, Rogan Vanstone and Duncan Hofmann.
