Rebel Power surge!
Submitted By Warren Wilcox on Tuesday, November 6, 2018
The Team Tedford Remax Rebel Midget B's returned to action Saturday in a home tilt with the Mitchell Meteors.
The girls continued their recent strong play getting on the board in the first shift!  Reese Wilkins won a battle for the puck behind the Meteor net and dished out front to Natallie Franks who buried it for an early 1-0 lead!

The Rebels carried the play for the better part of the frame with only one penalty kill interrupting their momentum.

The second period saw more good pressure on the Mitchell net.  At the 7:43 mark, Kenna McKee fired a wrist shot from the right point and Wilkins re directed it to put the Rebels up by 2.
Late in the second, Reese continued her strong play, carrying the puck from behind the opposing net to the left hash mark, pump faking then firing a hard wrist shot over the Meteors netminder. 3-0 Rebels!  Natallie Franks added an assist on the play.

The home squad poured it on in the third and never let Mitchell up off the mat!  Offensive opportunities came from all three lines and the defense were jumping in on the rush providing a lot of scoring chances!
Hunter Moffat did just that with 2:15 remaining scoring on a feed from Franks to round out the scoring.
Ashlynn Stephenson was good when she had to be in earning her third shut out of the young season.
Final: Rebels 4 Mitchell 0

Team Tedford hits the road this coming weekend for a pair of games. Saturday in St. Jacobs to play the Woolwich Wild and moving west on Sunday to take on the Stratford Aces at 2.
