Peewee Rebels Finish Fourth at Provincials
The Legion Branch 464 Peewee Girls finished a successful year with a fourth place finish the Provincial Championships in Toronto.

The Rebels started the tournament well with a 3-2 win over Stratford.  They then took on their old rivals Mount Forest and beat them 9-2.  The final game of the round robin was a 3-0 win over the Lindsay Lynx.  This resulted in winning division D and a quarter final battle against Tillsonburg.

The girls lost to Tillsonburg in the Silver Stick final in Port Elgin and they came out like a team with something to prove.  They beat Tillsonburg 4-1 to become one of only 4 Peewee C teams to be playing on Sunday.

Unfortunately, despite a great effort, the final 2 games didn't go their way as they lost 4-0 to the eventual champion Temiskaming Shores and lost the bronze medal game 2-0 against Nepean.

The Final Summary
42 Games
26 Practices
29 Wins
11 Losses
2 Ties
3 Silver Medals (Fergus, Silver Stick and WOAA League) and 4th in Provincials.

The only teams the Peewee C girls lost to were the first 3 finishers in Provincials, Tillsonburg (who they beat later) and Georgina B Team.

Great Year Girls!  You should be very proud of being one of the top teams in the Province.
