The Legion Branch 464 Peewee C Girls faced two consecutive games agains a feisty Owen Sound Ice Hawks team January 14 and January 16 as the second half of the season gets going in a March to the playoffs.

The Rebels carried the play while Owen Sound goalie played an excellent game to keep it tied.  Morgan Sinclair and Karissa Rasmussen broke through with goals in the third to give the Rebels a 2-0 victory.  Allison Hoy got the shutout.

The Ice Hawks showed up in Keady with revenge in mind January 16 as they pressured the Rebels constantly in an exciting game.
The Rebels had leads of 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 and 4-2 but could not hold on as the Ice Hawks kept storming back to tie the game including the 4-4 goal with 54 seconds left.
Alisa Christie continued her strong play in the offensive zone with 2 goals, Jessie Murray had a goal and an assist, Karissa Rasmussen played an aggressive game with numerous chances leading to a goal and an assist. Mia McNabb had 2 assists, Halle Greenaway and Morgan Sinclair had assists.

Next game is in Mount Forest on Saturday.
