A tie and a loss against the Lakers
Submitted By Krista Fluney on Monday, November 5, 2018
The Harold Sutherland Construction Peewee Rep Rebels faced the strong Shallow Lake Laker's team twice within days of each other.

Our home opener in Keady on Saturday against the Lakers had both teams battling hard with strong goaltending (Javier Koeslag for the Rebels) at each end resulting in a 2-2 tie.  Austin Cook scored both goals for the Rebels.

On Monday the Rebels traveled to Shallow Lake to face the Lakers once again. The Rebels had a great first period having the lead 1-0 after one however the Lakers came back strong netting 4.  The Rebels were unable to put any more past the Lakers goaltender.  Rebels goaltender Wyatt Garren made some big saves for the team however the Rebels fell to the Lakers 4-1.  Austin Cook netted the only goal for the Rebels.
