TILL THE BITTER END IN BOTH OWHA AND LLFHL!!!
Here is just as short summary of this crazy road of OWHA Playdowns and LLFHL Playoffs!
The country charm Bantam B girls have not backed down and have played hard but there isn't a lot of details with the last 3 games resulting in 0-0 ties!! This is how good the competition is between these teams.
OWHA----
Walkerton finished 1 point behind the Rebel ladies in regular season TCDGHA finished first and Walkerton second! This is now the series to determine who will go to OWHA Provincials and they are only taking 1 of the 2 teams!!
Game 1 was in Tara and ended in a 1-1 tie with Maizy Hutchinson scoring and the assist going to Aubrey Urbshott
Game 2 was in Tara ended in a loss for the Rebels of 1-0
Game 3 was in Walkerton and ended in another tie of 0-0
Game 4 was in Walkerton and ended in another tie of 0-0
This puts the Walkerton Capitols with 5 points and TCDGHA with 3 points. The first team to 6 points goes to Provincials!!!
LLFHL------
Game 1 in Tara was a huge win with the girls coming from behind when they were down a goal and they were able to score 3 goals in the third
Goal 1 at 9:09 was from Maizy Hutchinson assisted by Emma Macdonnell and Meghan Prentice
Goal 2 at 8:50 was from Jamie Gilchrist assisted by Tara Meikle and Brooke Farrow
Goal 3 at 8:42 form Tara Meikle in assisted
If you do the math we had 3 goals in 27 seconds!!!
Game 2 in Wellesley ended in a 0-0 tie
TCDGHA has 3 points and Twin Center Hericanes with 1 point first to 4 points goes to the LLFHL Weekend!
These Girls are playing hard and we are so proud of them!! They have 2 big games coming up in Tara Game 5 for OWHA is Wednesday night at 7:00 against Walkerton

Game 3 against Twin Centers is on Thursday Night at 8:30 in Tara
