The Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Girls Bantam B team have
had a good start to their 2017/18 hockey season!!
They have had 3 away games and 2 home games so far and have come out with 4 wins and 1 loss! The girls hosted Oakville this weekend in Tara and they proved to be ready to play. The game was fast with the girls skating hard and pressuring Oakville and our girls never let up.
In the first period the girls score 3 goals first was from Aubrey Urbshottt assisted by Maizy Hutchinson and Tara Meikle, goal number 2 was scored by Tara Meikle assisted by defenceman Kaitlyn Nickason. Goal 3 was score by Hutchinson, assisted by Meghan Prentice. This gave the team a strong lead and then Emma MacDonnell added another unassisted goal to give them a 4 goal Lead. Allysia Turnbull was strong in the net and almost had the shut out but then with just 0:31 left in the third Oakville was able to net a goal to make the final score 4-1.
Next Game for the Bantam B Girls is in Tara on Novermber 11 a 1:00 against the Kitchener Lady Rangers should be a great game so come out and cheer the team on!
