Hat Trick for Pearce Lacey in Exhibition Game with Mount Forest!!
The Township of Chatsworth "Air-Tech Mechanical" Bantam Boys LL1 played the Mount Forest Rams in an Exhibition Game on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at the Mount Forest Arena.  Mount Forest finished second in their division, during regular season play, and they were looking for a challenge before the playoffs begin.  The Rebels finished fifth in their division and their parents were looking for a way to have their sons take a break from playing video games such as Fortnite and do something of a more physical nature.  Both groups received their wish!!

Mount Forest got down to business, scoring on a hard shot just 39 seconds into the game.  The Rebels realized that this was NOT going to be a walk in the park.  At 6:13, Pearce Lacey evened things up with a hard backhand, unassisted.  Mount Forest then realized that this was not going to be a walk in the park.  Mount Forest scored about three minutes later and Pearce Lacey tied things up again with a well-timed snipe from a face-off that Curtis Wade won, with confidence.  2 - 2 at the end of period one.

Mount Forest started the scoring at a little over three minutes into period two.  Curtis Wade answered back using his speed and accuracy.  3 - 3 at the end of period two.

Both teams wanted the "win" in period three and both teams were starting to look tired.  With 2:50 left in the period, Pearce Lacey took the puck from one end to the other, demonstrating a few nice moves along the way, to score on the Ram's goalie with assists going to Curtis Wade and Landon Heathers.  It was highlight reel material.  The Rams did not give up and scored their final goal of the game with just 29 seconds left on the clock.

Final Score:   Rebels 4,       Rams  4

Keep challenging yourself physically, Rebels, as you prepare for the playoffs!!
