Novice Local League Fall to Lakers
The Chatsworth Rebel Novice Local League
suffered their first loss of the season last night. The team kept fighting back but eventually
fell 3-2 to the Shallow Lake Lakers.
Shallow Lake opened the scoring before Lochlan Blakely scored his first career goal off a perfect feed from Riley Roblin. Shallow Lake quickly jumped ahead to take a 2-1 lead. Duncan Hofmann hammered home the Rebels second goal of the game to tie it up. Shallow lake took the lead in the 3rd period and as hard as the Rebels fought they weren’t able to tie the game. Goalie Justin Nagel made many key saves to keep the score even.
