Silver Medal for Novice C Girls
The Desboro Tire Novice C Girls and their coaching staff should leave this tournament heads held high and proud as finalists in the pink on the rink tournament this weekend. 

They were undefeated leading up to the final game.  They had two ties and dominating win which was enough to get them to the final.  This game was one like I've never seen this team play.

Each player showed their grit and determination and new understanding of this exciting team game.  They had forechecking, back checking, outstanding effort at the blue line, outstanding goaltending and they out chanced and out played their opponents.  Despite this the score did NOT reflect their efforts.  A bad bounce off the boards behind our net resulted in a 1-0 loss for our ever improving team. 

This is a team to watch!
