Rebels Tie with Blades
The Bantam Scotiabank HL Girls Battled the South Bruce Blades to a draw on Saturday February 27.
The Rebels and the Blades are very evenly matched and it was a very exciting game of each team trying their hardest to be the first team on the score board. It was the Blades that slipped one past goalie Jadzia Leask with only 39 seconds left in period 1.
In period 2 Aly Airdrie found the back of the South Bruce net with the assistance of Alicia Beachamp and Jolina McLean.
In period 3 both teams tried to score but neither goalie was letting that happen. So the game ended in a draw of 1-1.
The girls have their year end tournament March 5 & 6, in Teeswater/Wingham. Go Rebels Go!
