Welcome to the Chatsworth Barn!
It is my pleasure to announce that we took DOWN Kincardine.  In the last of four games against Kincardine, the Rebels came away with a 5-3 win.

In our Playdown series with Kincardine, we had already lost the first three games.  We knew that Kincardine had secured the playoff berth to advance to provincials, but we had nothing to lose.  The game was very physical, but the referees kept it in check. With a coast to coast effort from Madison Ames, the first goal had points earned by Valerie Gibbons, Madison Ames and Amanda Zettle.  Kincardine answered back with a minute left in the first.  The Kinucks went ahead in the second with the only goal scored.  After a pep talk in the intermission the Rebels came out hungry.  Kylie Maue tied it up five minutes into the third with assistance from Katie Brancati and Callan Yost and shortly after scored a beautiful slapper unassisted to put the Rebels ahead.  The fourth goal came on a pass from Emily Moore when Erica Vokes blasted a slapshot into the net.  Kylie Maue earned the hat trick when she scored on a setup from Brancati and Vokes.  Kincardine whimpered back with one more goal at the one minute mark to keep the game exciting to the finish.  Congratulations on a great season girls, and good luck in this weekend's tournament.
