Pearce Blanks Lakers
Brayden Pearce was solid between the pipes to earn the shutout as the Kuhl Machine Shop Midget Rebels defeated the Shallow Lake Lakers 5-0.
Pearce had to be sharp early in the game as the Lakers took the play to the Rebels. The Rebels controlled the 2nd period, scoring 4 times. After the intermission, the boys added one more goal, and Pearce saved all 11 3rd period shots to seal the shutout win.
Mitch McComb led the scoring with 2 goals and 2 assists. Austin Kuhl, James Early and Branson Thalen each scored once. Also earning assists were Owen Torrie (2) and Thalen.
