Xtreme Heating Pee Wee LL busy three days
The Xtreme Heating Pee Wee LL Rebels had a busy three days of hockey and came away with a well deserved 1-1-1 record.

Things were started on Saturday as the Rebels travelled to the League Leading Shallow Lake Lakers. The Boys fought hard and challenged the unbeaten Lakers throughout the game. After the first period the Lakers were up 2-1 with Adam Gorman scoring for the Rebels with assists from Dalan Frook and Liam Wright. The second period was a great period of scoreless hockey. Owen Mackison continued to provide stellar goaltending as he is known for and the solid defense made this a great game to watch. Early in the third William Hoare would tie the game and the tension continued to grow. Shallow Lake would then go on to add three unanswered goals to take it 5-2. Great effort boys!

Next on the Schedule was a trip to Chesley for a showdown with another tough opponent The Arran Elderslie Ice dogs. The first period ended in a 1-1 tie with Dalan Frook scoring for the Rebels with an assist from Landon Heathers. In the second frame the Ice Dogs would serge ahead to a 3-2 lead heading into the third. Colby McComb would score for the rebels with an assist from William Hoare. In the final period the Ice Dogs would score early for a two goal lead at 4-2. The Rebels would stage a great comeback in the last half of the third to end with a 4-4 tie. Scoring for the Rebels were Charlie Scott with an assist coming from Landon Heathers again and Dalan Frook would get the last one unassisted. Once again strong positional play and excellent goaltending provided the Rebels the chance to achieve the tie. Super game Boys!

Finally on Monday night the boys would return home to face Bruce Peninsula and come away with a 10-6 victory. The game would start out with an evenly matched first period that ended with a score of 1-1. William Hoare would score for the Rebels on an assist from Adam Gorman. The Rebels would push out to a lead during the second with four goals. Bruce Peninsula would score twice to make the second period score 5-3. Charlie Scott went on a tear scoring a Hat trick plus one for all four goals for the rebels in the period. The first was unassisted, the second was assisted by Hoare, the third had assists from Daniel Mustard and Dillon Fry, while the last one was assisted by Dalan Frook. In the last period the Rebels would find the net five more times Dalan Frook would get two in a row with assists from Avery Ash and Gorman on the first and Ash again on the second. Gorman would tally the next rebel goal with assists from Hoare and Frook. Rounding out the score was William Hoare as he too had a hat trick with the last two goals both assisted by Dillon Fry. Bruce Peninsula would get three more to push the final Score to 10-6.

Great effort in all the games boys!
