The big ice surface proved too much for the visiting Desboro Tire Novices as they faced the Lucknow Sepoys in South Central Elite Playoff action! The Township of Chatsworth squad held the home team off the scoreboard for the first half of the game, but then Colton Maki one of the AP players called up for the game skated end to end and found the top corner not once but twice to put the Sepoys ahead. Another goal was added by Lucknow but the Rebels were not giving up!
Tough battles in the visiting end corners and great defence at the blue line to hold the puck in the zone allowed Neil Gilchrist to score the lone goal for the Rebels, with the assist going to Austin Rasmussen. Final score at the buzzer 3-1 for Lucknow. Great effort boys, now get those skates sharpened and sticks taped because we're heading home to take on the undeated Howick Hornets!
