A TIE in Desboro for the PeeWee Roster Select!
Owen Sound Roster Select came to Desboro last night for a game of exhibition play that would see both teams score 4 goals.
The REBELS would start off the scoring early in the second period when Clay Krueger found the back of the net on a fast pass from Jack Murray.
Owen Sound would add the next two goals putting them ahead by one, but the REBELS squad did not disappoint when they would dump two more in before the end of the period to put us again ahead by one. The second REBELS goal was scored by Murray assisted by Chris Hardman - then less than one minute later Wesley Houston would score his first of two - assisted by Curtis Wade.
The Owen Sound squad would add a quick goal in the third to tie things up, but the celebration was short lived as 41 seconds later the final REBEL goal would be scored by Houston assisted by Pearce Lacey.
With less than 5 minutes left of play Owen Sound would tie it up scoring the final goal of the game.
Jason Rudolph-MacLeod did a great job defending his territory helping end the game with a 4-4 tie.
