Series tied at 1-1!!
The TCDMHA Edward McNabb Roofing Midget LL are at 1-1 in WOAA LL Playoffs!!
Game 1 saw the Rebels take down Minto 7-3 in Chatsworth Last week.
Ryley Macleod started off the scoring in the First period with the assists going to Dawson McNabb and Josh Blackwell,
In the second the Rebels added 3 more to edge the Score 4-1. David Harrison added an unassisted goal, while Ryan Graves (McLeod and Kelly McCarthy) and Kyle Fry (unassisted) had their own.
The 3rd period saw Minto add 2 more goals but the Rebels weren't done as they netted one more early in the 3rd and then 2 empty Netters>> Matt Woodroffe ( James Early and Wyatt Sweiger) and empty Nets to: Will Kavanagh (Evan Longland) and Blackwell (Sweiger)
The Rebels Headed to Harriston this past Friday night and ended up losing 4-3.
this time the Rebels were up 2-0 by the end of the First period with Goals by, Longland (unassisted) and Kavanagh (Graves). But this wasn't going to be a walk in the park as Minto answered back to tie up the game 2-2. Longland (Kavanagh) would edge the Rebels in the 3rd 3-2, but again Minto would tie the game and then with 51 seconds remaining in the 3rd, they managed to get the game winner past the Rebels net minder.
The McNabb Roofing Rebels host Minto in Game 3 Tuesday night in Chatsworth in what will be the deciding game! Whatever the outcome boys You have made us all proud!! Good luck!!
