WOAA Cruickshank Division Champions!
The Kuhl Machine Shop Midget Rep Rebels are the WOAA Cruickshank Division Champions after defeating the Mitchell Meteors 5-1 in the third and deciding game on Monday night.
The Meteors and Rebels both battled hard for the first two periods of the game. With only 1:58 remaining in the second period, Cameron Stryker (assisted by Bryden Thalen and Connor McCauley) put one past the Meteors netminder. In the third period, Morgan Ottewell (assisted by Kai Hiemstra) widened the Rebels lead with a beauty goal. Joel Delleman (assisted by Jacob Roney) scored a third goal for the Rebels before the Meteors were able to take advantage of a power play and score their only goal. Delleman (unassisted) and Brendan Batterman (unassisted) rounded out the scoring for the Rebels to secure the Rebels victory.
