Rebels Defeat Orangeville B!!
The Chatsworth "Desboro Lion's Club" Atom C Rebels defeated Orangeville Atom B
tonight 3-0 in exhibition play. The girls travelled to Orangeville in order to
continue their preparations for OWHA Provincials in Toronto April 10-12th.
The first period was fairly even until Tara Meikle scored, assisted by Abby Watson and Kloey Jex to make it 1-0 for us. Grace Vokes turned away a couple of shots and then it was the second period!
In the second, Kloey Jex let one fly in to the top corner to make it 2-0. Her goal was assisted by Cecily Mallette and Claire Vokes.
By the third the Rebels had warn down the Tigers, were dominating the play and out-shooting them. Summer Roney continued the scoring for the final goal of the night, assisted by Tara Meikle and Natalie Madill for the 3-0 win. Grace Vokes got the shut-out again!
The girls are in Mount Forest tomorrow night for another exhibition game. Cheer us on!
