Rebels Atom HL travelled to Exeter on the weekend and represented TCDMHA with their team spirit on and off the ice!
The Rebels opened the tournament with a 5-3 win over the South Huron Sabres. This was a huge win for the Rebels as they started the game with only 6 skaters and no goalie due to mother nature's winter blast.
The team gathered for the 2nd game and managed to ice a full team. Even with a full team the Zurich Thunders were to much for the Rebels as they lost 7-2. Goals scored by Lyndsay Cumming, assisted by Jamie Norman, Zoe Schriek, assisted by Brittany Rodger.
A night of swimming and fun was enjoyed by the team on a snowy Friday night. The girls woke up with a winning attitude and took this into their game against the BCH Ice Dogs out playing the Ice Dogs and winning 6-1. The Rebels moved on to their semi final game against the home team South Huron Sabres. This was the Rebels second meeting in the tournament against the Sabres. The Sabres were prepared and outplayed the Rebels handing them a 7-4 loss.
