Owen Sound Novice Selects Visit Desboro
The Desboro Tire Novice LL team hosted the Select Attack team Saturday morning in a friendly exhibition match. The teams took the ice and were off to a fast paced start.
Both teams had chances but goaltenders Brody McCaig for Owen Sound and Robert LaFond for the Rebels were making it tough for the players to score.
Owen Sound would strike first with a goal from Joel Haylow. Holden Acquire and Lachlan Shute would each add a pair, and Daniel Bumstead, Dominic Thomas and Ben Clark had one a piece.
The Rebels were not kept off the scoreboard though, Jackson Greig found the back of the net with the assist going to Jimmy Couch. 8-1 final, with smiles all around. Great game players!!
The Desboro Tire Novice LL will participate in the Tim Horton Mini game during the Attack Game vs the London Knights on Saturday March 14th.
