So close.... but not quite enough
The TCDMHA Horton Concrete Novice Rep team traveled to Arthur to face the Vipers in the next round of playoffs of the Jacobi Division.

It was close and very exciting game to watch. The Vipers got an early goal in the 1st period scored by Brady Smith (assisted by Evan McDougall and Parker Coffey). The Rebels tied it up later in the first period with goal scored by Nathaniel Gibbons (assisted by Austin Cook and Neil Gilchrist). Then, Austin Cook found the net a minute later for the Rebels to take the lead with the score 2-1 at the end of the 1st period (assisted by Neil Gilchrist).

In the 2nd period, Conner Schmidt scored the Vipers next goal to tie the game up again (assisted by Parker Coffey and Brady Smith). A few minutes later, the Rebels responded with another goal by Karissa Rasmussen (assisted by Aiden Callahan-Cummins and Neil Gilchrist) to take the lead 3-2. A moment later Riley Woods found the net to even the score 3-3 (assisted by Evan McDougall and Wyatt Schill).

In the 3rd period, Conner Schmidt scored an early goal for the Vipers (assisted by Brady Smith and Wyatt Schill). The Rebels kept up their grit and determination throughout the 3rd period but were unable to even the score and with a last ditch effort the Rebels pulled their goalie and the Vipers capitalized with Brady Smith scoring on an empty net with 6 seconds left in the game (assisted by Simon Livingston and Wyatt Schill).

Join us next Saturday, March 7 in Keady at 10:30 am as these two teams face off again.
