CONGRATULATION REBELS 4th PLACE AT INTERNATIONAL SILVERSTICK
The Horton Concrete Finishing Novice Rep are in St. Clair Shores Michigan participating in the International Silverstick Finals.
Rebels are defeated in a close 4-3 semi-final
In their 1st game today they edged the Halton Hills Thunder with a 3-2 win.
After beating the Hagersville Hawks 5-4 in the Kincardine Qualifier they faced off in a rematch for their 2nd game of the tournament. This time the Hawks came out the winner defeating the Rebels 4-3 scoring the game winner with just 15 seconds remaining on the clock.
DAY 2
The Rebels defeated the Orangeville Flyers 4-0, Seth Rosenburg recording a SHUT OUT at the International Silverstick.
DAY 3
The Rebels have finished in the top 4 and will advance to Semi-Finals playing 7:30am against
1st place finish Belmont Rangers
REBELS defeated 4-3 in a very close Semi-Final game with Rangers taking the lead in the final 2 minutes of the game.
Rebels semi-final game was against a very strong Belmont Rangers. The Rangers season record is 25-6-4 with 312 GF and 131 GA. Their Silverstick scores had been 7-1, 7-2, and 9-3 during round robin, so a 4-3 loss is exciting hockey. BE proud of your accomplishments and treasure the memories.
