Rebels Win in OT
The Township of Chatsworth Horton Concrete Finishing Novice Rep Rebels beat the
Ripley Wolves 4-3 in overtime Friday Night in Keady.
The Rebels came out flying with Maverick Lacey blasting home a rebound only 9 seconds into the game, William Hoare picked up the assist. Rilpley would reply later in the first with two goals by Quinn Martyn, the first unassisted and the second assited by Ty Pollard.
The Rebels would come back in the second with two goals of their own, one an unassited marker by Wyatt Cayley and the other was from Nate Garrett, assisted by Hoare.
The Wolves would tie the game early in the third with a goal from Peyton Howald assisted by Teagan Vanderhoek. It remaind 3-3 to the end of regulation, on to overtime. At just one minute into overtime Cayley made a rush deep into the Wolves end and wrapped around the winner for the Rebels. Great Game Rebels!
The Rebels lead the best of five series 1 game to 0. Game two is at 3:30 in Ripley on Saturday.
