BIG WIN FOR MIDGET C GIRLS
The TCDMHA Sierra Aggregates Midget C Rebel Girls are one step closer
to their bid for a spot at the OWHA Provincial Championships in April with
a 2-1 victory over the Mildmay Monarchs last night.
Anna Mawhinney opened the scoring for the Monarchs half way through the first period. Kristen Sweiger tied the score at the 3min mark of the first. The score was still even until the about the 13min mark of the third when Kristina Dyer popped in the winner with her signature wrap around shot.
The Rebels host the Georgian Shores Lightening Friday night at 8:30pm in Chatsworth for game 3 of their provincial play down action.
