Year End Tourney
The Town & Country Garden Centre Midget B Rebels took game 1 of their year end round robin tournament.
Meeting up with Goderich, the Rebels were first to get on the board with a goal from the blue line shot by Abby Doig (Nicole Ballagh-Evans). The second goal from the Rebels came a minute later also from the blue line with a rocket shot from Taylor Vokes (Morgan Potter). Goderich squeaked one past Michelle late in the first but before the buzzer went off, Alexa Moore fired one past their netminder with the help of Vokes and Karlee Sweiger. The Rebels would win the first period.
The only goal scored in the second period came from a lone marker shot by Evans. The Rebels win the 2nd period.
Going into the 3rd period, the Rebels would set up a beautiful play behind the net with Sweiger shooting to Sidney Vaivods and Lexy Horton one-timing it past their goalie. The final goal of the game came from Sweiger (Kaitlyn Patchell) and the Rebels would win the 3rd period and the game 6-1, taking 5 points from the first game!
