Rebels improve to 4-0
The TCDMHA Kuhl Machine shop midget LL Rebels travelled to Tiverton on Sunday.  This was game 4 of 6 for the Rebels in the WOAA Elite round robin playoffs.

The team started off with warm weather thoughts and fell behind 1-0 midway through the first period.  1 minute later,  the Rebels replied on a goal by Andrew Wheeler with Braedon Weppler and Tyler Williamson getting the assist.  Tiverton responded with a goal of their own to go ahead 2-1.  With less than 1 minute to play in the first, Brock Wardell scored to tie the game at 2.  Austin Dier had the assist.

Tiverton went ahead again midway through the second period before the Rebels would again respond to tie the game.  MacKenzie Pringle had the goal with Brandon Wienecke adding the assist.  Tiverton would score another to take a 4-3 lead into the third period.  2 late penalties had the Rebels down 2 to start the third.

With Tiverton on a 5on 3 power play, the Rebels knew they needed to start strong to gain back the momentum.  After killing the penalties, the Rebels seemed to get their second wind.  2 goals midway through the third by Jeremy Torrie and Weppler had the Rebels ahead 5-4.  Mitchell Pringle and Wardell added the assist.  Tiverton scored with less than 3 minutes to go to tie the game.  Knowing this was a big game, the Rebels pressed hard and scored 2 goals in the final minute of play to leave with the 7-5 win.  Jeremy Torrie and Wardell scored with Tanner Brown, Wheeler and Tyler Dietrich added the assist.

The Rebels are next in action Monday March 26 when they travel to Howick.
