The TCDMHA Kuhl Machine shop Midget LL Rebels played host to Howick in WOAA
Elite playoffs on Thursday. The Rebels knew this was an important playoff game
and wanted to play strong
Mitchell Pringle opened the scoring for the Rebels midway through the opening period. It stayed that way until the second period when the Rebels strong passing and skating started to pay off. The team responded with a 5 goal period to take a 6-0 lead into the intermission.
Howick got on the scoreboard with a goal early in the third. The Rebels continued with their strong passing and skating and added 4 goals in the third to take the game 10-1. Braedon Weppler had a 4 point game with Andrew Wheeler notching a hat trick and Kevin Ireton chipping in 3 points. Mitchell Pringle, Cory McGregor had the other goals.
The Rebels are next in action on Sunday March 4 when they travel to Shallow Lake to play the Lakers in WOAA LL playoff action.
