The TCDMHA Kuhl Machine shop Midget LL Rebels played host to Shallow Lake
Thursday night in WOAA LL playoff action. Before the fans were settled into
their seats, Shallow Lake opened the scoring 6 seconds into the game
The Rebels replied 1 minute later on their first shot on goal to tie the game at 1. MacKenzie Pringle scored for the Rebels with assist going to Brock Wardell. With 6 minutes to go in the first, Shallow Lake scored to go ahead by 1. That proved to be all the scoring the Rebels would allow in the game. 2 goals by Wardell and Connor Muxlow had the Rebels in front 3-2 after the first period. Mitchell Pringle and Andrew Wheeler had the assist.
The Rebels found another gear after the first and never looked back. Andrew Wheeler and MacKenzie Pringle with his second of the game scored in the second. Assist went to Tyler Williamson, Kevin Ireton and Connor Muxlow.
Jeremy Torrie scored in the third to give the Rebels the 6-2 victory. Assist on the final goal went to Mitchell Pringle and Jamie Grey Scott.
The Rebels are next in action Monday Feb 27 when they play host to Walkerton in the WOAA LL round robin playoffs. Game time in Chatsworth is 8pm
