Country Charm Bantam Girls B go 2 and 2 in Orillia Tournament!
The TCDMHA Country Charm Mennonite Furniture Bantam B Girls had 2 wins and 2 losses over the weekend in Orillia..

Game 1 the Rebels were set to face off against the West Nippissing Sting. Probabaly one of the best games these girls played all year! The squad walked away with a 2-0 win!! Morgan Williamson netted both the Rebels goals unassisted. and Jessica McGregor recorded the shut-out!Williamson received the MVP of the game.
Game 2 on Friday the Girls met up with a feisty Waterloo team. There was alot of back to back action and late in the first, Taylor Slater, assisted by Colleen McNabb popped one in. It took till late in the 2nd before Waterloo got on the scoreboard, they then added another with .25 seconds left in the 3rd to take the game. The Rebels Net-minder, Amandah Gill received the games MVP.
Saturday afternoon the Rebels knew they were going to face tougher competition as they were in the quarter finals.... And tough it was! The girls squared off against  St.Mary's. it was a 0-0 game until late in the 2nd, when St.Marys put one past our goalie Jessica McGregor, but that put the fire in our girls! and shortly after the Rebels Katie Brancati assisted by Taylor Slater popped one in to tie it up. By the end of the 3rd, it was still a tie game...Sooo onto a shootout! The Rebels netminder McGregor stopped all 3 shots from St.Mary's while Callan Yost and Miranda Bruce both scored!! This put the girls into the Semi Finals!! McGregor was named the MVP of the game!
Sunday saw the girls set to upset the number 1 seeded Timmins Squad. But it wasn't meant to be, The Girls lost 4-0 to a very strong Timmins team (who went on to win the tournament!)
Excellent effort ladies!!!
