Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament
The Pee Wee HL Girls had a blast in Orangeville this weekend both on and off the ice.
Three hard fought battles for the TCDMHA "Chatsworth Legion Branch 464" Pee Wee HL Girls this weekend in the Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament.
MVP Brittany Batterman lead a strong defensive charge against the Zurich squad on Friday afternoon but unfortunately the lady Rebels fell 4 to 1. Natalie Stephens put us on the board and played a strong game for Chatstworth. Kassey Mustard & Astelle Wardell created many scoring chances but could not put one past the Zurich goalie.
Friday night the pee wee girls hit the ice again and skated to a very exciting 1 to 1 tie against Orangeville. Natalie Stephens once again showed her fire power with a beauty goal in the second period. The MVP for the game was Payten McCauley who played a fantastic game for the Rebels. Ashyln Mackison & Erica McComb also played one of their best games of the year!!
The girls were up bright and early Saturday morning to face the Caledon Coyotes. Brontae Frook scored her first goal of the year to put the ladies on the board but despite the fact that these young ladies never let up the Coyotes took the game 4 to 1. Renee Farrow played a strong game for the Rebels and Hannah Mustard was award MVP for her great job between the pipes!!
