Rematch against Walkerton ends in a BIG win!!!
The TCDMHA Inline Fencing Peewee B Rebels Played the Walkerton Capitals Tuesday night in preparation for Provincials, and won BIG time!!
The Rebels opened up the scoring in the first period with Mikayla Whitney popping one in with help from Emily Moore, Walkerton answered back a minute later but the Rebels weren't going to give up as Gabby McNabb added one of her own unassisted to edge the lead. It wasn't long after that Walkerton then tied up the game. BUT the Rebels were on fire adding 2 more goals in the period to take a 4-2 lead. Rachel Aitcheson (assisted by Grace Kuhl) and McNabb adding her second of the game. Into the Second period where the Rebels Emily Moore assisted by Kuhl and Whitney pegged the Rebels up another notch. Finally in the 3rd period the Rebels added yet one more with a nifty shot from Kuhl to win the game 6-2. These mighty Rebels head to Toronto this weekend to play in the OWHA provincial tournament. First game is Friday Morning at 9:15.
