Township of Chatsworth Desboro Garage LTD Pee Wee LL Rebels hosted Bruce Peninsula Wild #2 on Saturday March 3rd in Keady for their final WOAA Round Robin Playoff game.
The Rebels started the scoring off in the first period with Connor Bye scoring the first goal, with an assist from Jeremy Skippen. A second goal was scored by Mason Hanna and assisted by Bryce Swartz Smith taking the Rebels to a 2-0 lead. By the end of the first period the Wild had scored 3 goals, added by Ethan Cameron, Luke Burrows and Joshua Lyons.
Coming out in the 2nd period #24 Spencer Hanna scored un assisted as the penalty clock on the Wild was sitting at :24 seconds ~ Amazing!
The Rebels added a fourth goal in the 2nd period by defenseman Garrett McNabb and assisted by defenseman Kelly McCarthy and Spencer Hanna. The Wild matched our efforts by adding two goals as well by Braiden Mielhausen and Luke Burrows.
With the scored 4 -5 in the favour of the Wild, the third period was a well played game by both teams, with the Rebels scoring their last goal of the game, an unassisted goal by Spencer Hanna. The Wild won the game, with #2 Ethan Cameron closing his game out with a hatrick and a win for the Wild.
The final scored of 7-5 in favour of the Wild, was a well matched intense game for a windy Saturday.
